As part of their on-going geographical expansion strategy, ITL has opened a new facility in Vietnam, recognising the growth of garment sourcing taking place within that region and addressing the need for needlepoint support.

Located in the Long An province of Ho Chi Minh City, the brand new site is situated within the large apparel manufacturing area that exists in Vietnam but also offers convenient access to Cambodia.

The site will initially focus on providing a fast response service to a number of ITL’s existing accreditations; producing care labels, heat transfers, variable data and screen printed labels although the facility has been built to accommodate litho printing and weaving facilities in the future.

Speaking at the launch, Regional Managing Director for Asia, Mr Dale Weet commented “ A number of our customers have expressed a need for us to set up a facility for their requirements in Vietnam so that their vendors can buy directly in country rather than continue to import directly from our China factory. We have been paying close attention to the growth of apparel sourcing from Vietnam over the last two years and feel that this expansion will not only improve speed to market but also help us reach our long term growth objectives for the wider Asia region.”
