One month after RetailExpo 2019 and the team here at ITL are still on a high from it!
After testing the waters for the first-time last year, this year we were ready to fully embrace Europe’s leading event for retail technology.
In January 2019, we launched our new branding which introduced our logo to orange and the dots and strokes found in a QR code.
From an aesthetic point of view, our stand needed to reflect this new identity. Visitors could spot hints of orange in: the paint, accessories, logos subtly scattered around, garments and iPad covers.
The gaps intentionally left in the walls around our “discussion area” and in the retail section echoed the dots and strokes in our logo.
Finally, we also ensured the space and ambiance reflected our personality: open, welcoming and professional.
Providing the RFID Experience
Our stand was designed to experience the RFID journey from start to finish. Not only did we display RFID labels applied to various products such as garments, accessories and footwear, but we also offered demonstrations of our RFID Software REFLECT in action to show how our labels, hardware and software work hand in hand.

RetailExpo’s first edition of TriedIt Talks were a perfect opportunity to do this and discuss how to unleash RFID and go beyond inventory accuracy. If you didn’t catch us on the day, don’t panic!
As part of our sustainability policy, ITL is committed to minimising our impact on the environment. We aim to embrace this policy in everything we do – including tradeshows. As a result, we went paperLESS on our stand by minismising our use of paper. Instead of offering paperback brochures, tablets were available display our digital brochures. Visitors also had the chance to receive these by email after the show.
Our goody bags were another way for us to encourage a more environmentally-friendly mind-set. We included sustainable products such as pens made from sugar cane and reusable bamboo mugs.
RetailExpo 2019 was a fantastic experience where we met many new brands, caught-up with customers and were able to impact the retail industry. We look forward to RetailExpo 2020 and to see you there!
